A Tale of Burnt Eyeballs.
Melt was founded with active lifestyles and sore eyes in mind.
Having spent decades at play in the rain, snow, wind and sun, we understand that our eyes are always exposed to the elements. However, that doesn't mean that we should have to take a break from doing the things that we love.
Winters on the West Coast of Canada can be highly temperamental. Shifting storms and unpredictable weather patterns can blow in and out in a matter of hours. For many, this has always meant carrying around multiple pairs of goggles, glasses, and lenses in order to stay ahead of the changing conditions.
The vision for Melt was to create an alternative way to shield our eyes, no matter where we are or what we're doing. By supplying the world with a pair of sunglasses and enough lenses for any condition, we hope to give everyone a better solution to protect their eyes and stay ahead of the weather.
